1. Reasonable feesOur fees are always reasonable. Our office follows the guidelines established by the Finnish Bar Association. According to these guidelines a fee for a particular assignment shall be reasonable. The following is taken into consideration: the assignment's duration, nature, scope and degree of difficulty. 2. First consultationsWe do not charge for first initial verbal consultation. During this first verbal consultation we discuss your case with you and give advice to the legal situation, the chances and the further proceedings. If the matter is finished with the first verbal consultation, no further costs arise. During the first initial consultation, we check whether the clients’ home insurance, business insurance or car insurance could cover part of the expences arising from our services on behalf of their case. We also check whether you are eligible for legal cost aid from government funds. 3. Account on time-basisMainly our fees are based on the total amount of time used on a particular case We will provide you with an exact list of our activities pertaining to your case for you to check. Our hourly rates differ –depending on the subject of law and the importance of the case - from 140,00 € to 200,00 € plus VAT. Direct costs stemming from the case will be billed separately. For travelling expenses we charge 0,65 €/km. We can also negotiate a set fee for particular case. 4. Flat ratesIn case of long-term cooperation, we offer you the possibility of a monthly flat rate, calculated on the basis of the expected time spent (e. g. two or three hours per month). This offers you the possibility to handle legal questions, arising in the course of daily business, quickly and without having to ask about the costs in each single case.
